Two culinary craftsmen from Toronto have recently brought their popular weekly, slow smoked rib night from the Big Smoke to the City of Roses. Timothy Francis comes to us from the kitchens of stellar restaurants in Toronto’s trendy Riverdale neighbourhood such as PicNic Wine Bar, where he honed his culinary chops. His partner in whites, Eric Brockman an event promoter and cuisinier ran a coveted, weekly, communal style dinner at Fountain Bar, a pillar in the Dundas West arts district. Together they’ve set up shop in Windsor’s multi-purpose Phog Lounge for a monthly celebration of tastes, aptly named The Big sLow Down.
Combining southern style slow smoke BBQ with an array of adventurous side dishes, the duo won over the crowd on Super Bowl Sunday, the debut of this new, série succulent.

Tickets are available now for the Big sLow Down Vol:II at Phog Lounge. Organizers Tim Francis and Eric Brockman are working with the owners of Phog Lounge to keep the party going on a monthly basis.
