TechBoost: Facebook Marketing Masterclass
Generously funded by a Libro Credit Union Prosperity Grant, The TechBoost Program supports the growth and development of small businesses in Windsor-Essex by providing affordable training in information technology tools and products for business. TechBoost is an initiative of Hackforge, supported by the WindsorEssex Small Business Centre.

Why Take this Workshop:

First impressions are so important. That’s what your content is. A lot of times, your social media is the first main point of contact with your potential customers and clients. With social media, you have endless opportunities to catch the attention of your target market. In this workshop, Nichole will teach you how to use content to do just that. Nichole will also teach you how to get in front of the people that matter most for your business!

Goal: By the end of this workshop, participants will have a series of content ideas for their own social media marketing, the tools to create this content and a clear plan on how to utilize Facebook to grow their business and clientele.

We’ll cover:

How to create a Facebook account, page, event and more

Different types of content, specific tips for creating high-quality content, and how to focus your content around engagement.

Materials: If you would like to follow along using a laptop computer during this workshop, please feel free to do so. A computer is not required, however.

Instructor: Nichole Howson, Social Media Manager and Owner of AIM Social Media Marketing

Nichole started AIM Social just over three years ago. She has had clients across Canada, the United States and in the United Kingdom. She manages the online presence of 10+ businesses, offers consulting services and teaches free workshops once a month to local business owners, as well as social media courses.
