WHAT

Meditation is more than sitting cross legged for 15 minutes a day trying to still the mind, it is a lifestyle. Meditation is learning to control the mind, the thoughts and how we utilize the power of focus that arises when we do. In this 9 hour retreat, we will show you various techniques to strengthen the mind and understand its nature so you have the best possible foundation to develop your own personal practice.

Learn a variety of meditation techniques such as japa, mantras, visualization, walking, mindfulness and candle gazing. We will discus the basic philosophy of meditation as offered through the teachings of yoga to better understand the nature of the mind and how to better control our mental functioning.
