No functional weapons are allowed at the Christmas Comic Con. DO NOT BRING REAL SWORDS, GUNS OR ANY TYPE OF AUTHENTIC WEAPON TO THE SHOW. Only props are allowed. Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as part of your costume. No projectile weapons (including but not limited to airsoft or paintball weapons) will be allowed! Weapons with a metal blade, regardless if it is dull or sharp, are prohibited! All simulated or costume weapons are subject to inspection by security or convention staff. Participants found to be in violation of these rules will be subject to removal from the show. – Thanks to the Baltimore Comic-Con for this policy.
Last year, more than 1,400 attendees (both big and small!) crammed into the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594 for Windsor’s first comic book convention in more than 22 years – as well as countless media outlets that provided both post and pre-show coverage, including CBC-TV, CTV-Windsor, CBC-Radio, AM-800, The Windsor Star, Cogeco Cable, Windsor This Week, Arts Council Windsor and Region, The LaSalle Post, St. Clair College’s MediaPlex News, Windsorite.ca, TGT Media, OurWindsor.ca and Metroland Media.
Let’s top that total this year and THEN some!
CHRISTMAS COMIC CON 2 is COMING – BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE!
Special thanks to Mr. John Fairley and St. Clair College for their partnership in making Christmas Comic Con 2 (C3-2) a reality.
