Genes load the gun, but environment pulls the trigger, and according to Dr. Joel Kahn, “you can drastically change what your genes are doing in a very short period of time by embracing a healthy lifestyle”. On Sunday, January 31, 2:00-4:00 pm at theCabota Club, Dr. Joel Kahn, M.D., Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Director of Kahn Center for Cardiac Longevity, Michigan, will give a lecture on how you can use diet and lifestyle choices to not only prevent and even reverse heart disease, but also to achieve optimal whole-body health and well being. He will present the root causes and how to achieve optimal heart and whole-body health by addressing various aspects such as nutrition, healing herbs & spices, vitamins & supplements, fitness, stress management, sleep therapy, gut health, and even mindful elimination.
