Lakeshore is looking for feedback online regarding a proposal to establish a gaming site for a Charitable Gaming Centre at 446 Advance Boulevard.

The proposal to locate the Power Play Gaming Centre, initiated by Community Gaming and Entertainment Group (CGEG), requires approval from both the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).

As part of that process, the Municipality is seeking public input on the gaming site.

Members of the public are invited to the upcoming open houses:

    •  Virtual Open House (hosted on Microsoft Teams, no software installation needed) on Monday, September 12th, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.  Register online to receive a meeting invitation.
    • In-person Open House on Wednesday, September 14tg, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, Renaud Room

Submissions can also be made online through the Gaming Site & Gaming Centre Proposal Community Survey, which will be accepted until Monday, September 19th, 2022 at 4:30pm.

More information, including the proposal and Report to Council, can be found online at Lakeshore.ca/GamingSiteProposal.
