Windsor Man Charged After Wyandotte Street East Stabbing

A Windsor man has been arrested after a stabbing in the 800 block of Wyandotte Street East around 11:30pm on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019.

Officers arrived and located an adult male victim who had been stabbed. The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The suspect had fled on foot prior to police arrival.

Through investigation it was determined a verbal argument had started between both males, which turned physical, and the victim was subsequently stabbed.

A suspect was identified and it is believed the males were known to each other.

On Thursday, July 25th, 2019 officers located the suspect in the 300 block of Glengarry Avenue. The suspect fled on foot from officers, however was quickly located and arrested.

The suspect was also found in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine.

Jonathan Beck, a 25-year-old male from Windsor, is charged with aggravated assault, possession of suspected methamphetamine, and four counts of breach probation.
