The OPP have identified two teenagers who died in a single motor vehicle collision on June 16th.

OPP say the single motor vehicle collision happened around 8pm at the intersection of Mersea Road 1 and Mersea Road 19.

They say that a motor vehicle with four occupants left the roadway, rolled over and submerged in a water-filled ditch.

Of the youth ranging in age from 13 to 17, one managed to free themselves, and the others were trapped in the vehicle. Emergency services members arrived on the scene and freed the occupants, and all were transported to an area hospital with injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening.

Nicholas Wiebe, age 15 of Leamington, and Henry Reimer, age 13 of Wheatley, died in hospital.

A 17 year-old youth remains in hospital and a 14 year-old youth was not injured.
