Windsor Police have issued a warrant for a male wanted after a long weekend stabbing.

Police say that around 11:40am on Monday, May 20th, 2019 they were called to an apartment unit located in the 1600 block of Ouellette Avenue for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from several apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that it was determined that the victim and the suspect were known to one another and that while inside the apartment unit, an altercation took place during which the suspect stabbed the victim.

The suspect fled the scene on foot before police arrived.

Kyle Miles, a 22-year-old male of no fixed address, is wanted for aggravated assault.

He is described as approximately 5’11” in height with a thin build, weighing about 150 lbs., with wavy dirty blonde hair, brown eyes and numerous body tattoos.

It is possible that he is armed with a knife.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police.
