Two Arrested For Allegedly Supplying To Downtown Drug Users

Windsor Police have arrested two people allegedly involved in trafficking drugs to users in Downtown Windsor.

Police say through investigation they identified a home in the 1000 block of Cataraqui Street where they believed someone was supplying illicit drugs to many users who frequent the downtown core.

At around 7pm, Wednesday, officers acting on a warrant arrested a man and a woman in the area after they had been seen exiting the home.

Police seized a number of illicit drugs and located stolen property in the rear yard.

Claudia Bowes, a 29 year old female from Windsor is charged with possession of a controlled substance – suspected methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance – suspected hydromorphone x2, possession of a controlled substance – suspected codeine, possession of a controlled substance – suspected morphine, possession of stolen property valued over $5000 and breach of recognizance.

Mitchell Larocque, a 37 year old male from Windsor is charged with possession of a controlled substance – suspected methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance – suspected buprenorphine, possession of a controlled substance – suspected MDMA, possession of a controlled substance – suspected hydromorphone x2, possession of a controlled substance – suspected codeine, possession of a controlled substance – suspected morphine, possession of stolen property valued over $5000, breach of probation and facilitating a breach of recognizance.
