Police Seek Female Suspect In Two Robberies

Windsor Police are looking for a suspect after two convenience store robberies.
The first happened around 9:45pm on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at a convenience store located in the 1500 block of Tecumseh Road West.
Police say that a suspect had entered the business carrying a suspected gold coloured firearm. The suspect demanded and received a quantity of money and merchandise which was concealed in a grey plastic bag. The suspect was last seen fleeing the business eastbound on foot.
The second was later that evening around 10pm at a convenience store located in the 1100 block of California Avenue.
There the suspect entered the business brandishing a suspected gold coloured firearm as well. The suspect demanded money and was carrying a plastic bag.
The suspect attempted to reach over the counter into the cash register, but fled the scene when confronted by a second employee.
The suspect was last seen running northbound and entered the passenger seat of a vehicle.
The vehicle is described as a dark burgundy Mazda SUV CX7 with four doors. It was possibly a 2007 or 2008 model.
There were no reported injuries at either robbery.
