Police Arrest Suspect In Convenience Store Robbery

Windsor Police have arrested a suspect wanted for a the robbery of a convenience store in the 3600 block of Matchette Road back on Wednesday October 17th, 2018.
Though investigation police were able to identify the suspect.
Police say that the suspect was arrested on an unrelated matter. On Thursday, October 25th, 2018 approximately 8:30pm, officers were on routine patrol in the area of Prince Road and King Street when they stopped a vehicle for traffic related offences. Officers determined that the vehicle was reported stolen and the suspect was placed under arrest without incident.
On Friday, October 26th, 2018, officers received judicial authorization to search a residence in the 3700 block of Birch Street in relation to the offence. Officers recovered and seized property believed to be related to the robbery.
Kyle Parent, a 37-year-old male from Windsor, is charged with robbery with a weapon and possession of stolen property.
