Windsor Police have laid charges after a 17-year-old male was struck by a van and killed while on his motorcycle.
The accident happened back on Thursday March 9th, 2017 around 10:20pm at the intersection of Cabana Road West at Roxborough Boulevard.
The driver of the involved mini-van, a 46-year-old man from Windsor, is facing a charge with “Left turn, Fail to Afford Reasonable Opportunity to Avoid a Collision”. He is also facing a charge under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act of Ontario for “Fail to Have Insurance Card.”
The registered owner of the involved mini-van, a 36-year-old female from Windsor, is facing a charge under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act of Ontario for “Owner Permit Vehicle to be Driven Without Insurance.”
