Police Investigating Downtown Stabbing

Windsor Police are investigating a stabbing downtown.

Police say around 6:45am this morning, they were called to an apartment located in the 300 block of University Avenue East.

They say that a 38-year-old male had sustained multiple stab wounds and was transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Investigation revealed that a number of people were in the apartment and the victim was involved in an altercation with another male which resulted in his injuries.

They say that it is believed that the people involved are known to each other.
