Windsor Police report that they are investigating approximately 20 commercial break and enters which have occurred over the last two weeks.

Police say they believe the incidents are related because they are being carried out in the same manner, with the suspect(s) breaking the front glass at local businesses and targeting the cash registers. They have occurred in the evening and early morning hours.

Windsor police would like to remind local businesses to remove cash from registers prior to closing and consider a good quality video surveillance and alarm system. We also ask that residents report any suspicious people or activity after hours around businesses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477.
