Windsor Police have charged four teens after an assault was filmed and posted online.

Police say that a teenage female attended Windsor Police headquarters with a family member to reported that she was a victim of an assault which occurred on November 8th, 2016 at approximately 5pm, in the area of the 4800 block of Wyandotte Street East.

The teen told police that she was approached by a group of teens, both male and female, who began shouting at her, taunting her and trying to instigate a fight. A number of the suspects in the group assaulted the victim, while shouting at her.

The teen sustained minor injuries and didn’t require medical attention.

Officers also responded to a call at a residence from one of the individuals from the group involved in the incident who advised that she was receiving threats from a number of people online.

Police say that they have charged a A 15 year old female, a 14 year old female, a 15 year old male and a 19 year old male all from Windsor with assault.
