Police Investigate Stabbing, Are Looking For Suspect

On Sunday October 30th at 7am, Windsor Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Louis Avenue for a report of a stabbing.

Investigation revealed that a suspect was allowed into the house to speak to the residents and a second male suspect quickly followed in after with his face concealed with a bandana.

The first suspect allegedly threatened the resident with a knife. The suspects then assaulted and stabbed the 47 year old male victim. The second suspect wearing the bandana was known to one of the residents.

Officers located the suspect at approximately 10am, in the 400 block of Glengarry Avenue and subsequently placed him under arrest. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the identity of the second suspect or the incident itself to contact police. The victim was transported to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.

Vincent Harris, a 52 year old male from Windsor is charged with aggravated assault, use disguise in commission of indictable offence, assault with a weapon, and robbery.

Police are looking for a suspect described as a black male, 25-29 years old, 6’0″, slender build, short black hair, wearing a brown velvet coat with fur around the collar and wrists, and black boots.
