Windsor Police are investigating a home invasion and robbery on University Avenue.

On Wednesday, police began an investigation into a home invasion robbery at a residence in the 800 block of University Avenue East.

Officers spoke to a 67 year old victim who stated that early in the morning, just after midnight, he heard a knock at the front door. He opened the door and three men forced their way into the residence. One of the suspects allegedly held a knife towards the complaint and demanded money.

They quickly left the residence with a small quantity of cash.

The victim told police that they suspects appeared intoxicated.

The suspects are described as:

1) Male, white, light complexion, blue eyes, short blonde hair, mid twenties, 5’10 and skinny build. Last seen wearing a short sleeve, light coloured grey button up shirt, light coloured jeans, sandals.

2) Male, white, tanned skin, short, skinny build, 45 years old.

3) Male, white, tanned skin, short, skinny build, 45 years old.
