OPP say that a need for a fast food fix lead to a drunk driver getting arrested.

They say that around 1:30am on August 18th, 2016 they were called to the McDonals in the 200 block of Talbot Street West in Leamington for a drunk driver in the drive thru.

Police arrived at the restaurant to find a green Pontiac still in the drive-thru lane. The driver was spoken to by police and was arrested after exhibiting signs of impairment.

David O’Brien, age 49 of Windsor has been charged with driving while ability impaired and refusing to provide a breath sample, and will appear in a Leamington Court on September 1st, 2016 to answer to the charges.
