LaSalle Police are investigating after “disturbing graffiti” was found at Petite Côte Conservation Area on Front Road.
Police say the graffiti was spray painted with red paint on the bird tower located at the end of the walkway.
The graffiti referenced the shooting of five police officers in Dallas, Texas last week, as well as other instances where police officers had been killed.
Police say this is the second such incident involving graffiti at the same location — the first incident was in May. Police say the two incidents may be related as they had similar messages.
Anyone with information is asked to call LaSalle Police at 519-969-5210 or you can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-TIPS.
