Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested After Hitting Concrete Barrier Several Times

OPP in Tecumseh arrested a Chatham man who was allegedly driving drunk on Highway 401 over the weekend.

Police received numerous complaints regarding an erratic driver westbound on Highway 401 travelling through Tecumseh on July 3rd, just after midnight.

The vehicle was reportedly swerving over all three lanes on Highway 401 and collided with the cement centre barrier a number of times.

Officers located the vehicle and sole occupant of the vehicle. He allegedly exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.

Jeremy Harrison, age 23 of Chatham was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding 80mg of blood alcohol content.
