Police have made a substantial pot bust in West Windsor.
On Wednesday the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit was active in a drug trafficking investigation in the city of Windsor. The investigation centered around an illegal cannabis marijuana grow operation at a residence located in the 400 block of Grove Avenue.
Officers obtained a search warrant and executed the warrant at approximately 2:30pm, with the assistance of the Emergency Service Unit. Officers placed a 26 year old male associated to the residence under arrest without incident. Officers seized a quantity of drugs worth in excess of $60,000, along with other property, listed below. Officers also found a rifle which was stored contrary to regulations. At approximately 8:15pm, another suspect associated to the address attended Windsor Police Headquarters and was placed under arrest.
Police seized 60 cannabis marijuana plants, 65.2 grams of cannabis marijuana, 56.9 grams of psilocybin, $1,455 in Canadian currency, $40 US, a functioning digital scale, a mossberg long rifle, 4 prohibited knives, packaging materials
other evidence of grow operation.
Arman Farhangdoust, a 26 year old male from Windsor is charged with unlawfully producing cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking and storing a firearm contrary to regulations.
Daniel Dosen, a 22 year old male from Windsor is charged with is charged with unlawfully producing cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking, storing a firearm contrary to regulations, possession of a firearm without holding a licence, and 4 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
