Police have arrested a man who was allegedly carrying a long gun in Downtown Windsor over the weekend.

On Sunday, June 26th at approximately 9:30am, a Windsor Police Patrol officer observed a shirtless man walking down the street carrying a red camping chair style bag with a shirt wrapped around an object sticking out the end of the bag.

The officer observed a silhouette of a rifle stock and believed a long gun was in the bag.

Officers quickly put the male under arrest and seized the concealed combination long gun.

Daniel Parker, a 32 year old male from Windsor is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm without holding a licence.
