An offer has been made on the former Victoria Street Manor property in the Town of Amherstburg.
In the fall of 2014, County Council made the decision to close Victoria Street Manor, a supportive senior care facility located at 184 Victoria Street in the Town of Amherstburg.
By January 1st, 2015 all residents had been assisted with securing appropriate alternative housing and the property was listed for sale in January 2015 through Buckingham Realty, the County’s real estate services provider.
An offer to acquire the property recently removed conditions of sale and the property has been sold for $400,000 subject to County Council approval on Wednesday, May 4th, 2016.
