Leamington OPP received a driving complaint just after 5pm Wednesday about a vehicle on Danforth Avenue in Leamington.

Officers located the vehicle in question and spoke to the driver of the vehicle who they say exhibited signs of impairment. Police located open alcohol within the vehicle.

Officers on routine patrol in Tecumseh around 2:45am Thursday observed a vehicle swerve within the eastbound lane of Intersection Road, striking the shoulder of the road numerous times.

The vehicle was stopped and police say the male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment. He was issued a Roadside Screening Device Demand which he failed.

Eric Sementilli, 31, of Tecumseh was arrested and charged with exceeding 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content.
