Windsor Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident.

Police say that their early investigation has revealed that two motorcycles were eastbound on Sandwich Street around  University Avenue West around 4:20am when were involved in the accident.

A 26-year-old male who was riding a black Harley Davidson was transported from the scene to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 28-year-old male riding a white Honda CBR with a 28-year-old female passenger were also transported to hospital. The male sustained serious but not life threatening injuries and the female had minor injuries.

Windsor Police accident reconstruction officers were on scene investigating the accident all day, and the road was closed until 4pm.

Anyone who may have seen the accident is asked to call police.
