Teen Charged In Tecumseh Road Cyclist Death

Windsor Police have charged a Tecumseh teen after a cyclist was killed on Tecumseh Road, early in June.

The incident happened on Wednesday June 17th around 1pm at Tecumseh and Parent.

Police say a Chevrolet pick-up truck was northbound on Parent, stopped at a red light on Tecumseh.

The cyclist was eastbound on Tecumseh on the north side of the street. The truck made a right turn and the bicyclist collided into the truck.

Police were told the truck left the scene of the accident.

A 58 year old male was transported to hospital with serious injuries and subsequently passed away in hospital.

Police eventually met with the driver of the truck.

Justin Revel, 18, is charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in death.
