Man Arrested After Breaking Into Tecumseh Eatery

A 40-year-old Lakeshore man was arrested after breaking into a Tecumseh Restaurant.

OPP say that they were called to a break and enter in progress on June 16th, 2015 around 3am in the 11800 block of Tecumseh Road East.

Police say that earlier in the evening, a male had been asked to leave the establishment after punching a glass on the wall causing damage to his hand.

When officers arrived at the eatery, they found the rear door had been forced open and the same male was inside the office portion of the establishment. The male exhibited signs of impairment.

He was arrested and taken to an area hospital for treatment to his injured hand.

Rodney Swan was charged with mischief under $5000 and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. He will appear in a Windsor court on July 23rd.
