Windsor Police Make Huge Crack Bust

Windsor Police have seized over thirty thousand dollars in drugs from a suspect at a motel on Walker Road.

The Windsor Police Drug Enforcement Branch was conducting an investigation into trafficking on Tuesday when subject of the investigation was seen by police exiting a motel room in the 3700 block of Walker Road.

He entered a taxi cab in the parking lot and police stopped the vehicle, placing the man under arrest.

Police searched the suspect and his backpack and located the following items 270.5 grams of crack cocaine worth $27,500, 8.4 grams of powder cocaine worth $6,840, and 19.8 grams of marijuana worth $198.

They say the total value of drugs seized was $34,088.

Police also seized $2,080 in currency as well as three cell phones and a functioning digital scale.

Cheddi Emil Morris, 30, from Toronto is charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis marijuana.
