Windsor Police have concluded that a 7-year-old girl was not abducted from Pykes Park in East Windsor as was previously thought.
Police had been called to Pykes Park at 5450 Lasalline around 1:20pm.
Police said a group of young children told officers they were playing in the park when a large white, 4-door vehicle pulled up. Officers were told that a man in his 30s grabbed a seven year old girl, brought her into the vehicle and drove off.
Police said the young children gave slightly different variations of the story.
Just after 6pm police concluded the investigation saying that no abduction actually took place.
