Windsor Police Make More Drug Arrests

Windsor Police have made several arrests after two drug investigations.
On Wednesday around 11pm, police conducted a vehicle stop in the area of McDougall Avenue and Tecumseh Road West in relation to a drug investigation.
Officers arrested two men aged 34 and 32 in relation to drug trafficking.
Officers discovered one male to have 34.4 grams of cocaine in his possession, valued at $3440, according to police. The second male was discovered to have $3390 Canadian currency in his possession.
Each male was charged with possession of cocaine for trafficking. They were both subsequently released on a promise to appear with a court date in April 2015.
Also on Wednesday, Windsor Police had assisted LaSalle Police with a different drug investigation.
LaSalle Police Service executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1900 block of Normandy Street and arrested five teenagers, all LaSalle residents.
Police say three of the teens were 19 years of age and the other two were both 18 years old.
Police seized 171.99 grams of marijuana, 6.57 grams of cocaine, 1.36 grams of cannabis resin, and 10 pills of MDMA. The total value of seized drugs is estimated to be $2544.90, according to police.
Each of the five teens are charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cannabis resin.
They were all subsequently released on a promise to appear.
