Parked Cars Broken Into In South Walkerville

Police are warning the public not to leave valuables in their cars after break-ins in the South Walkerville area.
Police were called in the middle of the night Tuesday to the 2200 block of Lincoln Road after a man was seen looking into parked vehicles and acting suspiciously.
Officers came into the area and located the man. A search revealed a quantity of stolen property, according to police.
Most of the owners were located and the property was returned.
Police say you should remove all valuables and lock all the doors when parking your vehicles.
Patrick Lemieux, 49, is charged with theft under $5000 x2 and possession of stolen property x2.
