Police have arrested a man and a woman after another man was robbed and then dropped off at a motel on Howard.

Police were called just after midnight on Thursday and a man told officers that he went to visit a friend in the 2600 block of Richmond Street but two males forced him into the bathroom and took his wallet. Police say the men demanded to know his debit card PIN number.

Police say the victim was taken by cab to the motel in the 2800 block of Howard Avenue. Again, he was forced to go into a washroom, according to police. He could hear voices in the motel room, and once it got quiet, he left the bathroom and the motel room and called police.

Police arrested 34-year-old Robert Graham and 30-year-old Sydney Gelinas.

Graham is charged with robbery, forcible confinement, and uttering threats. Gelinas is charged with robbery, forcible confinement, and possession of stolen property.
