Windsor Police have arrested and charged a man after a stand off yesterday in Walkerville.
Police were called to the 1100 block of Lincoln around 2:30pm after receiving a call for a man with a gun.
Police say they received information that two men were arguing in front of the building and lots of screaming and yelling could be heard.
One of the men was allegedly seen pointing a BB gun at the other man, according to police. He then returned to the building, police said.
After a several hours long standoff with weapons drawn, police discovered that no one was in the building and that the suspect had left the scene.
A black air soft pellet gun that was a replica of a Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol was recovered.
The suspect was contacted and later turned himself in at Windsor Police Headquarters.
A 25 year old male from Windsor is charged with Weapons Dangerous and Breach of Probation.
