For the fourth time in the 31-year history of The WindsorEssex Community Foundation, there will be a new Executive Director.
Lisa Kolody will join the staff on November 10th and will oversee all areas of the Community Foundation’s operations and will work closely with
the Board members and volunteers to fulfill the mission and vision of the organization through the implementation of the strategic plan.
In addition to her experience in administration in the not-for-profit sector, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge about Windsor and Essex County. Prior to her appointment at the Community Foundation, Lisa was the Director of Programs and Operations at the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex
County. She also has experience with Leadership Windsor Essex, the Leamington District Memorial Hospital and Sandwich Community Health Centre. Lisa has been the volunteer Chair of the Community Foundation’s very successful Random Act of Kindness Day™ program since its inception in 2010.
The Community Foundation’s current Executive Director, Glenn Stresman, has announced his retirement as of December 2014. He will assist Lisa with the transition through to the end of the year.
