Child Exploitation Charges Laid

During the week of September 22 The Windsor Police Internet Exploitation Unit in conjunction with a provincial wide project executed several search warrants.
As a result, 29-year-old James Piche who had previous been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of make available child pornography, now faces 64 additional criminal charges.
The charges are ten counts of sexual assault, fifteen counts of making child pornography, 15 counts of accessing child pornography, fifteen counts of
possession of child pornography and nine counts sexual interference.
Piche remains in custody.
Windsor Police say that they have identified three local victims of Sexual Assault. Investigators believe that there may possibly be more victims and encourage any victims or witnesses to contact Sexual Assault
