Construction has started on Northwood Street in South Windsor to repair the crumbling road to drivable conditiions.
Northwood between South Cameron and Dandurand will see new sewers, watermains, curbs, gutters and paving.
The funding for the street comes from $1 million dollars of ward funding allocated by city councillor Al Maghnieh.
Work will be completed at the end of August.
