Windsor Police continue to investigate after a pizza delivery driver was robbed early this morning.

Police say that around 1:15am a Domino’s driver was making a delivery in the 500 block of Pitt Street West.   He entered a building to attend an upper level apartment unit.  The unit on the delivery slip could not be located in the building.  The complainant called the telephone number attached to the delivery and was advised that no pizza had been ordered.

As the complainant went back downstairs and exited the building, he was confronted by two suspects.  One of the suspects was observed holding a knife.  The suspects made off with a pizza bag and its contents.

Both suspects were last seen leaving the area east on Pitt Street West and then north on Bruce Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years of age,  5’5″ – 5’8″, wearing a dark hooded sweater with the hood over his head.

The second is described as a white male under 30 years of age, with a medium build.  He was wearing a bright coloured hooded sweater with red and orange horizontal stripes with the hood over head.  Had a knife in his hand.

There were no injuries.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 519-255-6700 ext 4305.
