Police are investigating after two homes were shot at and a person found a bullet hole in the fender of their car over the weekend.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Belleview around 5:30pm Saturday. Police say the car’s owner indicated that a bullet hole was discovered in the fender of their vehicle while it was being washed.
Police say neighbours told them about hearing popping noises overnight between 12:30am and 1:00am.
One neighbour told officers that after hearing the noises, a dark coloured vehicle was observed leaving the area at a high rate of speed. At the same time, police say around 10 people, males and females, were observed coming from the rear of a residence in the 200 block of Belleview Avenue.
After investigating, police found bullet holes in two house window’s on the block. Police located several brass casings in a driveway in the area.
