UWindsor Provost Accepts Appointment As President Of Trent University

University of Windsor Provost Leo Groarke has been appointed president of Trent University effective July 1st.
In a statement, University president Alan Wildeman remarked that “During his four years at the University of Windsor, Dr. Groarke has helped guide our academic mission and has provided leadership and mentoring to those who worked with him,” He noted that he has helped them shape the vision for the downtown campus.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a farewell reception for Mr. Groarke on March 12th from 4pm to 6pm in Vanier Hall’s Katzman Lounge.
The University says that they will appoint an acting provost and immediately begin a search to fill the position.
