Two people have been charged in a crash that killed a 43-year-old man on Tecumseh Road on December 16th.

Police allege a red Dodge pickup truck was traveling east on Tecumseh when it failed to stop at a red light. A westbound Chrysler Intrepid was stopped in the intersection attempting to make a left turn onto Roseville Garden Drive.

One of the vehicles struck and killed the pedestrian.

The 34 year old driver of the pickup truck was charged with failure to stop at a red light and the 71 year old driver of the Intrepid was charged with “turn not in safety”.

Both men have a pending court date in March 2014 to answer to the allegations.

Windsor Police are still seeking additional witnesses who may have witnessed the accident to come forward.
