Windsor Police are investigating a possible home invasion in the 800 block of Langlois Avenue.

Police say just before 10pm Monday, two suspects entered the home and demanded drugs. One produced a firearm and the second carried some type of wooden club.

Three people were inside the residence when the suspects entered. A physical confrontation took place and a 49-year-old male resident suffered a gunshot wound to his head and a number of lacerations to his scalp.

The suspects fled the scene and nothing was taken from the home.

The first suspect is described as a male, possibly Hispanic in his early 20’s, 5’6″ – 5’8″, with a medium build, shaved head with new hair growth, darker skin. He was wearing a black jacket with a fur-lined hood and grey jogging pants.

The second is described as a male, possibly white, in his early 20’s, 5’7″, with a slim build wearing a grey hoody and black ball cap

Police say that this was a targeted, drug related occurrence, and that investigators from the Major Crime Unit are continuing the investigation and have interviewed a number of witnesses to the attack.
