A man who robbed a LaSalle bank in February has been sentenced to 3 years in prison.

27-year-old Windsor resident Jeffrey Ssekawunde pled guilty to robbing the CIBC branch on Malden Road on February 28th.

Ssekawunde pled guilty to robbery and wearing a face mask in the commission of an indictable offence and was sentenced to 3 years in prison and prohibited from possessing Firearms or Ammunition for life by Ontario Court Justice Lloyd Dean.

Ssekawunde had been arrested in Toronto by Canada Border Services Agents on March 1st after being alerted by the LaSalle Police.
