Windsor Police have busted a Detroit man allegedly trafficking crack on Windsor streets.

A police investigation revealed that a man was trafficking drugs in the 800 block of Wyandotte Street East, and officers went to look for the suspect Wednesday afternoon.

Officers located the suspect in a rented vehicle near Cataraqui and Moy near Walkerville.

The Detroit man, bound by court conditions not to be in Canada, was arrested without incident.

39-year-old Jermaine Newell is charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a judicial release.

Officers seized 7.3 grams of crack, a digital scale, and a quantity of money.
