Tilbury Driver Charged For Driving With Open Liquor

Chatham-Kent OPP have arrested and charged a Tilbury driver for allegedly driving with open liquor.

OPP say the 23-year-old driver was stopped just before 4am on Sunday November 10th on the 401 near Queens Line.

While officers were speaking with the driver, they say they noticed containers of open alcohol in the vehicle. OPP allege that the driver had been consuming alcohol. A roadside test was completed and OPP say it resulted in a warn range suspension.

James Miners from Tilbury was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension and charged with driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available.
