Police Make Fourth Arrest In Downtown Stabbing Death Case

Windsor Police have arrested and charged a fourth man they say was involved in a ‘melee’ last weekend that left six victims injured and one dead.

Kevin (Gautham) Kugathasan was stabbed to death around 2am on Saturday October 19th in Downtown Windsor near University and Pelissier.

Police arrested and charged 30-year-old Ali Mahmoud Ahmed on Monday with possession of a dangerous weapon. 23-year-old Abdul Rahman Bousaleh was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.

On Tuesday, 22-year-old Dwayne Nicholas Pierce was arrested without incident and charged with first degree murder.

On Friday afternoon, police arrested 23-year-old Ahmed Jaber at his residence in Windsor.

Police say Jaber has been arraigned on a charge of assaulting Kugathasan and has been remanded in custody pending his next court appearance set for October 29th.
