Tecumseh OPP are looking for the public’s help to locate a piece of equipment that was stolen from a construction site.

OPP say a “48 inch rail fork and frame, black and steel in colour and weighing approximately 400 pounds” was taken from a construction site at 5130 Essex County Road 9 in Tecumseh (near Howard at Laurier Parkway) sometime between Friday September 27th and Monday September 30th.

Police say the item is valued at $4500 and has “El Mara Construction” stamped into it.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the theft of this item to contact the Essex County OPP Street Crimes Unit at 519-723-2491 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
