Suspect Busted For Monopoly Board Break-ins

Amherstburg Police have arrested a suspect following a number of break-ins in the “Monopoly Board” subdivision.
Plainclothes officers observed a 19-year-old male entering several driveways and attempting to enter vehicles around 3am, Friday.
Officers arrested the male as he was exiting a driveway on Boardwalk.
Upon arrest, the male was found in possession of alcohol and assorted currency.
Investigation revealed the alcohol was stolen from a home in the 400 block of Richmond Street.
The 19-year-old McGregor teen is charged with Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and “Prowl at Night”.
