3 Men Arrested For Breaking Into South Windsor Cars

Windsor Police have arrested three men for allegedly breaking into a number of cars in South Windsor.

Police were called at 3:25am this morning when a witness said he saw three men in a silver car stop in the 3400 block of Glenwood.

Two of the men got out of the car and entered a vehicle and allegedly removed some items. Police spoke with the owner of the vehicle and were provided with an inventory of missing items.

Police later stopped the silver car in the 4200 block of Showdown Street. Three individuals were inside. Police say they found the earlier-described stolen property in the vehicle.

The three men in the vehicle were arrested.

Police say more thefts occurred and owners of property in the 700 block of Massimo, 1500 block of Imperial Crescent, 1600 block of Sagebrush Court and 4300 block of Pioneer Avenue have all been notified.

Police are still taking inventory of the property and are asking any additional victims to call in.

Police have recovered several items including purses, shoes, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, various tools and loose change.

The three men, all from Windsor, aged 27, 29 and 30 were each charged with 5 counts of Theft from motor vehicle and 5 counts of Possession of Stolen Property.
