Essex County OPP arrested a man and seized thousands of dollars worth of crack cocaine after a traffic stop this morning.

Police stopped a 29-year-old Brampton man at Highway 3 and Howard around 2:45am this morning.

OPP say a search of the vehicle revealed 22.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine along with a small about of marijuana.

The lone male in the vehicle was arrested and will be appearing in court in Windsor today.

Police say the street value of the drugs is estimated to be around $23,000.
